Bluesfest is on This Easter

The Bluesfest site experienced flash flooding during the Northern Rivers rain event earlier this week.

The event site area where the music occurs escaped and did not have major flooding. “Some car parks and camping grounds did experience flash flooding but the water is subsiding quickly,” says Bluesfest Director Peter Noble.

The load-in continues, the tents are ready to be raised,  and with less than two weeks to go before the gates open, the forward weather report is good, with plenty of sun forecast daily. Bluesfest are optimistic that their grounds will dry out, and the site will be ready to welcome music lovers. All of the stages and food halls will be under big canvas tent tops.

The festival will feature a mostly Australian lineup with Paul Kelly, Midnight Oil, The Living End, Jimmy Barnes, Tex Perkins and others.

Bluesfest looks forward to welcoming you to the greatest gathering of Australian artists in the history of Australian Music, plus some very special international guests.
