Celebrate Like a Byron Local – Two Iconic Markets, One Perfect Easter Weekend

Looking for the perfect way to spend your Easter long weekend? Byron Bay’s iconic Byron Markets have you covered with back-to-back market experiences that are as local, laidback and lively as it gets. Join the community and visitors alike for a weekend of Easter Market strolling, music listening and coastal vibes.

Start your Easter festivities under the stars at the Byron Twilight Market in Railway Park. From 4pm to 9pm, discover artisan stalls brimming with handmade treasures like jewellery, homewares and fashion. Street food vendors will keep your hands full and your tastebuds happy, while Hayley Grace and the Bay Collective bring the groove with live music from the heart of Byron.

"There’s something magical about the twilight market," says Carl Taylor, Byron Markets Manager. "It’s relaxed, creative and full of community spirit. And when the fairy lights go on, the vibe is pure Byron."

To keep the long weekend fun going, on Easter Sunday head to the Byron Beachside Market, set along the stunning Main Beach foreshore. From 8am to 3pm, wander over 200 stalls showcasing local art, ceramics, clothing, photography and natural beauty products. With live music by Cinnamon Sun, Hannah Pearl and Cos Micos, it’s the ultimate Byron blend of market buzz and ocean breeze.

"The Beachside Market really captures the essence of Byron Bay. It’s artistic, sustainable and full of soul," Carl adds. "It’s a chance for locals and visitors to connect with the creative energy that makes this town so special."

These are free, family-friendly events that showcase the best of Byron. Authentic, creative and welcoming. Whether you’re a market regular or just visiting for the weekend, this is your chance to experience Byron like a local.
