Established in 1987, this market is renowned for its eclectic collection of stalls, which showcase Byron’s intrinsic authenticity and vibrant culture. Nestled outside the historic Byron Community Centre building, the market offers a unique blend of winter cosiness and coastal charm.

The Byron Community Market is a cornerstone of community betterment, supporting local businesses and spotlighting regional talent.  With a welcoming atmosphere, artistic talent, fantastic food, local musicians and authentic products, the Byron Community Market presents an inspiring representation of Byron’s local community at it’s finest.

Live and Free Music Lineup

Leopard Zebra Tiger: Emerging in April 2024, this dynamic band supports Zac Crackalaka's gigs and features a vibrant mix of reggae, ska, circus-dub, and Balkan-infused music. With influences from Fat Freddy's Drop to Gogol Bordello and Black Eyed Peas to Cat Empire, Leopard Zebra Tiger is set to energize the market crowd with eclectic covers and original dancefloor hits.

Adrian Heath: Combining folk and alt-country, Adrian Heath’s performances blend voice, guitar, harmonica, and heart into a captivating melody reminiscent of Ryan Adams and Elliot Smith.

Cheynne Murphy: A heartfelt folk-rock singer-songwriter, Murphy's music is described as "big, warm, sprawling folk-rock." With free-to-air TV performances, national radio airplay, and numerous songwriting awards, Murphy’s latest album "Headlights and Goodbyes" showcases his collaboration with renowned guitarist Jeff Martin from The Tea Party.
