Globally renowned Pilates studio, Fluidform Pilates, will open their third premises this March in Byron Bay, NSW. Fluidform has a formidable reputation in Pilates worldwide, with studios in Sydney’s Surry Hills and Clovelly and the hugely successful digital Pilates platform, Fluidform at Home.

Founder Kirsten King has long considered expanding her studios outside of Sydney. To open in Byron she has partnered with long-time friends Kate Williamson and Aidan Guerra. Kate will be lead teacher for the Byron studio, bringing over 15 years of teaching mat and reformer Pilates to the role. Former rugby league player, Aidan discovered Pilates through his 13 year professional career with the Sydney Roosters and Newcastle Knights. Since retiring from rugby in 2020, the father of two is taking an entrepreneurial path to continue his involvement with movement and fitness and will take on the responsibilities of the operational side of the business.

Fluidform Byron Bay will open its doors to the public on Saturday March 27 with a community Open Day offering a range of bespoke classes across mat, equipment and reformer Pilates. Open Day classes will be available to book online via Fluidform Byron Mindbody (link to come) for $10 a class, with all proceeds being donated to the Byron Bay Community Centre. Operating for over 30 years as a not for profit organisation, the BCC has played a key role in establishing a range of community-driven initiatives, programs and events to provide the services to support vulnerable people with meals, advocacy, counselling and social activities.

Membership options and the studio timetable are available at the Fluidform Pilates website.
