Good Ole Hoedown

This festival season we saw a major revival of the western trend with attendees adding their own glitzy twist to achieve the perfect cosmic cowgirl look.

On Saturday 23 July, Nine Lives Bazaar made the most of the cowgirl movement gathering festival goers and western dreamers for the Hoedown of the year at the Billinudgel Pub.

This was an event not to be missed with some of the region’s most iconic brands coming along for the ride including Fallen Broken Street and Mr Vintage.

In terms of party attire, their timeless capsule, Desert Butterfly, stole the show. Adorned with bold colours and nostalgic prints, Desert Butterfly transformed the crowd into a sea of cosmic cowgirls.

Vibes were high with music provided by Le Shiv, Gabriella Cohen, Mt. Warning, Matthew Armitage and Hannah Darling.

Like any good Hoedown, cowboys and cowgirls were treated to Line Dancing and Zephyr Horses Pony Rides. They added some sparkle to the event with Glow Tatts Glitter and had drinks provided by the best in the business, Gage Roads Brew Co + AZTECA Margarita.

It was the perfect event to get Splendour in the Grass goers into the swing of things prior to heading in for the muddy festival fun. Nine Lives Bazaar have thrown countless unforgettable parties, however this is one that will go down in the history books.
