Support Your Local Theatre with NSW Discover Vouchers

Would you like to enjoy a night out at the theatre? This autumn, the NSW Government is inviting you to get out and about and support your local community.

Make the most of your 2 x $25 Discover vouchers by purchasing tickets to a show at Byron Theatre. Artists, musicians and performers have been hit hard with Covid-19 and this is a fun way you can help revitalise the arts.

“The Dine & Discover initiative is a great way to get people back out to events and the Byron Theatre is proud to be one of the local businesses supporting this,” says Tanja Greulich, Venue Manager.

Whether you’re interested in music, dance or film, there’s something for everyone at Byron’s local theatre. Shows are already so reasonably priced that one voucher can make a big difference to the cost of entry.

“A trip to the theatre has become even more affordable with the Discover NSW vouchers providing bang for your buck at our live events that showcase Byron’s best local talent and world-class performances,” adds Tanja.

With so many productions coming up at Byron Theatre in May and June, you can choose from comedy with Arj Barker, live music by Budjerah, the Byron Underground Film Festival, National Theatre Live on screen, and much more.

How to use your voucher

To redeem your Discover NSW voucher at Byron Theatre, simply phone the Box Office on (02) 6685 6807 or pop in and purchase tickets at the Byron Community Centre at 69 Jonson Street. To find out what’s on visit byrontheatre.com.

Every time you purchase a ticket to a show at Byron Theatre you’re helping to support vital community services and programs at the Byron Community Centre.

  • You will receive four vouchers each valued at $25

  • Two of them are ‘Dine’ vouchers and two are ‘Discover’ vouchers

  • The Discover vouchers can be used to book shows at Byron Theatre across music, theatre, dance, talks and film

  • The vouchers can be used any day of the week (including public holidays) until 30 June 2021

The demand for tickets has already been high since Byron Theatre reopened its doors after the temporary closure last year, so it is advisable to book early so you don’t miss out on the show of your choice.

The Box Office is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30am – 1:30pm, and 1 hour before all events.

Dine & Discover

The NSW Government has launched Dine & Discover NSW to encourage the community to get out and about, to support dining, arts and recreation and stimulating spending in the economy. All NSW residents aged 18 and over can apply for 4 x $25 vouchers, worth $100 in total.
