New Wellness Event and Festival Village at Caper
With Caper Byron Bay Our Food and Culture Festival a few weeks away, the Northern Rivers four day celebration has announced the final two lineups with a new wellness event – The Wealth of Wellness, and the food, art, entertainment and kids precinct within the heart and creative hub of the festival, Caper Festival Village presented by North Byron Hotel. Tickets are on sale now and selling fast for all 30 immersive events.
Byron Bay has long been considered a destination for wellness and mindfulness, showcasing the immense knowledge and support in the area, Caper Byron Bay has announced a special event exploring the various practices. Hosted at Bende Studios at Habitat Byron Bay on Friday, 11 November, The Wealth of Wellness will welcome special guest, Shelley Craft in conversation with some of the leading wellness facilitators in this area, including Tiffany Jackson, Emma Maidment and Mukti to discuss how we can alter our daily life to be more joyful, healthful and conscious.
From 8am-11:30am, the event will offer a Bende Vinyasa Yoga class, a plant-based breakfast with Vegabond, an Inside-Out Wellness discussion with Shelley Craft and special gusts, followed by an immersive sound healing with Soul Alchemy’s April Swift. The Wealth of Wellness will encourage guests to unlock practices to support their ongoing wellness journey.
The heart and creative hub of Caper Byron Bay Festival will be Caper Festival Village, Presented by North Byron Hotel. The festival will be taking over the entire North Byron Hotel in the Byron Arts & Industrial Estate and transforming it into a spectacle for the senses, becoming a food, art and entertainment precinct packed with full day programming from Friday to Sunday.
Ticket holders can expect pop-ups of local Northern Rivers restaurant food stalls including but not limited to Raes on Wategos, Belongil Beach Italian Food, Bang Bang, Al Natural Oysters, Capiche, North Byron Hotel, The Happy Doughnut and more. For drinks, Stone & Wood will present the main bar as the Official Caper Festival Village beer partner, alongside Days and Daze who as the Official wine partner will host plant potting and design in their tipi wine bar. Other drink favourites include Brookie's Gin, local Bangalow beer Common People Brewing Co, Pet Nat Palace and Ventura Brewing, plus a Patron Margarita lounge with free tequila tastings and the Grey Goose Garden Bar.
Spend your weekend immersed in the best this region has to offer for entertainment and music, including live performances from Lazywax, Nyxen, You’re Only Great Always, Pasiflorez, Warren Earl Band, DJs and more. The hub will also host discussions with panels and talks on art as activism, the future of food, the path of sustainability, along with ‘Mate Dates with David Moyle’ featuring some of the nation’s best chefs.
Caper Festival Village welcomes families with free entry for kids under 12, and a packed program to keep all entertained including performances from Bunny Racket, Ministry of Fun DJ School, face painting bouncing castles, pony rides, bubble technician, farm kids and garden games.
Tickets available for Caper Festival Village include a special opening night event on the Friday, a weekend pass for Saturday and Sunday, individual days, plus a locals discount. All ticket holders will receive Free Byron Solar Train travel across the four days.
